East Coast Counseling, Inc is a leading provider of outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services in Greenville, NC. Our licensed counselors offer a range of evidence-based approaches, including DBT, CBT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing, to address a variety of mental health and addiction needs. We also provide specialized services including the following: DWI assessments, DWI Groups, Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School, Substance Use Evaluations and Anger Assessments. We work with the NC Board of Nursing, NC Physicians Health Program, and the US Probation Office offering services for mental health and substance use treatment. In addition, ECC offers SAP services for the Department of Transportation and Substance Use Evaluation for the NC Department of Motor Vehicles.

Abby earned her Bachelor's degree in Family Community Services with a concentration in Child Development from East Carolina University, where she also obtained her Master's degree in Social Work. Since January 2021, she has been working in addiction and mental health counseling.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys spending time with her fiancé, reading fantasy novels, watching Netflix, shopping, and going to the beach.
Madison is an intern at East Coast Counseling, completing her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University. While she is still determining her specialization, she is gaining valuable experience working with a diverse range of clients with various needs. Outside of her work at East Coast, Madison enjoys spending time at the beach and with her dog, Josie.
Gloria graduated from East Carolina University in 2006 and has nearly 18 years of experience in substance use, mental health, and disability services. She is East Coast Counseling's Certified ADETS instructor and occasionally facilitates DWI groups. Outside of her professional role, Gloria enjoys soul-stirring music and spending time with her family, especially her grandson.
Jemelia is a Substance Use Counselor for our evening DWI groups. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health counseling in 2022.
Laura has worked in office administration since 1989 and holds a Legal Assistant associate's degree. She worked in the legal field in Maryland for a defense attorney, State's Attorney and the Circuit Court criminal clerk's office. She has lived in Greenville for 8 years.
Laura attended Pitt Community college after her Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps. There she earned her Associates in both Business & Human Resources. She continued her education at NC Wesleyan and graduated in 2019 with a double Bachelors in Business Administration & Human Resources.

The length of time it takes to see results from counseling sessions with East Coast Counseling varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may see improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy.
We are licensed professionals with advanced degrees in counseling or a related field. All of our therapists have extensive training and experience working with individuals, young adults, couples, and families.
We accept private pay and most health insurance plans. Please call our office for more information. Co-pays are due at the time of service.
No. This is an out of pocket expense to the client. Please call our office with any further questions.
DWI assessments require that we have the original citation, paperwork with the BAC and a current copy of your driving record. Clients can bring in their paperwork the day of their assessment but can also be faxed or email to our office by your attorney. Driving records can be pulled in office for an additional fee.
Yes! We offer virtual counseling at your request. We see North Carolina residents only.
